Is this how Democracy dies? Not with a whimper nor thunder, but with a Democratically controlled congress?

WTF?!?!? I mean, seriously, WTF?!?!?

I’ll speak on what the Democrats are doing now, which just may be the last straw, hopefully, for democratic apologists hold-outs, in a minure, but first, some ranting.

What was the point of last year's running around, like chickens with our heads cut off trying our damnest to elect a majority body of the Democratic Party to overturn the right-wing, highly big brother, highly illegal and unconstitutional, neo-con agenda driven Republican Party of the 109^th congress, only to get stab in the backs by the very daggers we thought the dems would sharpen to defend us from the onslaught of Bush's regime, not to stab us to help usher in a new era of "bipartisan rubberstamping"?

There was no point, there was no point in overturning congress one iota. All the same objectives that would have passed in the 109^th, and the 110^th if the Repukes had kept their majority, are being passed now, unquestioned by their lapdog, bludog, loyal, sheelpe, base. Just under new management.

Okay, let's get honest, none of us, or nearly none of us, last year, on UNN, abroad across the tubes, and all throughout America, none of us voted FOR Democratic candidates, it was more like we were voting AGAINST Republicans and their right-wing ideology, the lesser or two evils, that we all know all too well and are getting sick of. But, you see, the Democratic party... they are clueless. Freakin' clueless. Reid and Pelosi's IQ together is half my shoe size, and I have very petite web feet. They live in an alternate reality from us, one where they apparently think they were given a mandate to do whatever the hell they want, when it was rather, a progressive ideology, and values and ideas that were given the mandate, anything not neo-con was given the mandate, and nothing else.

Actually, I believe they may even think they “won” because so many of them now are conservative, and that they think that’s what the public (voters) want, which is why they swung that way… dems for the most part, are corrupt, little opportunistic little trolls, like any other breed of politician, they want what is good for number one, and that’s it. Power, and maintaining it, that’s what they want. So, it comes to no surprise that after the “upset ” victory of the GOP in the 1994 midterms, and ever since, the scum of the Democratic Party, the ones only looking after number one, would think that in order to maintain their power structure and have the beat on things, they must placate to the same neo-conservative ideology that has the GOP wooing their respective base, rather than actually doing the hard work of changing public opinion, because we can’t have that, now can we? NNNNNNNNooooooooooooooo… “It’s hard work”.

Hard work, my feathered ass. Don’t give me such excuses, or you only further my point that the Democratic Party has truly gotten away from left-wing principles, that it’d rather “steal” away the GOP’s voters by trying to become the GOP, as opposed to actually, oh, I dunno, getting of THEIR FUCKING ASSES AND WORK FOR A GOD DAMN LIVING AT TRYING TO CHANGE PEOPLE’S HEARTS AND MINDS AND PUTTING FORTH THE BEST ARGUMENT OF YOUR SIDE’S POSITIONS INSTEAD OF JUST LETTING THE GOP SAY WHATEVER THEY LIE ABOUT AND THEN SAYING, (in a meek voice)“uhhhhh…me too!”

God, you scum are pathetic, you know that. You really are. You have NO claim on “Hard working”, the GOP work much harder at maintaining their priniples, as shitty as they are, than YOU DO. Hell, FAUX News and other right-wing hate mongerers are right, we don’t know what you guys are about, we don’t know where Democrats stand, because they quite simply don’t stand for anything. They stand for…. “hey, me too!!!” They just watch what the Republicans do, and they figure, “eh, can’t hurt to go along with them”, and then they do. And boy, do they ever. What was the point of voting a dem candidate over a repuke, if they believe in the exact same thing ideologically? Would you vote for Tom Tancredo, or Mitch McConnell, if they changed party affiliation to dem, and that’s all they changed? Would you vote for Kucinich is he switched to GOP? I would have to say… I might not have in the past, when I thought it mattered whom controlled congress, but now that we have reached that point where it no longer matters, everything Bush wants rubberstamped is going to get rubberstamped anyways, I’d say, yes, if Kucinich was still a flaming liberal as he is, didn’t change anything about himself but his party affiliation, I’d have to say, yes, I would vote for a GOP Kucinich. Because labels don’t matter, parties don’t matter, whom has more numbers in a branch of government doesn’t matter, all that matters now, in light of the dems capitulating on FISA to Bush, is principles, values, and ideologies.

But at the point we are reaching this point, I’m beginning to nelieve inothing matters, even those qualities I just listed in the above paragraph that I did say still matters, because this is it then end of the line.

What is left there for Bush to get? Because I’m sure if there is anything, he’ll get it, wait until the congress breaks for the Winter/Christmas holiday break, oh man, whatever rights we may have left by then, they are just on the chopping block, waiting to be bartered for whatever funny business/horse trading may yield the cowardly craven of the party of the jack ass, they’ll do it, and I say, just get it the fuck over with, because I AM TIRED!!!!!!!!

I'm tired. I'm tired of always waiting for the next show to drop, waiting for the next thing the dems will fuck us with, because it doesn’t matter, it’ll still hurt getting inserted up our anuses all the same, and we can’t do anything about it, according to some. I’m just tired. I’m tired of living in a constant state of fear, and panic, from a party a though I would not have to live this way again after the November elections. I’m tired of peering and pouring over each and every amendment, each floor speech, each sentence in the bill, because I simply don’t trust the dems any more that the GOP. I’m tired of, tired of it all. Id you want to be the GOP, then just say so, and if this is going to happen, if you are to continue the rubberstamping of the Bush administration of the past 6 years, then fine, please just SAY SO!!! Gaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwddddddddammiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt!!!!!!!!!

I want honesty. I want you puss-faced little pieces of equine fecal matter to just own up to your shit and admit to your advancing a conservative, big brother, big government agenda, I want you to be honest and look me in the eye, and tell me there is no difference in party, that party affiliation means jack shit because of your own actions by become FAUX Republicans. I can’t even use the term “Republicans lite”, because that would imply that you guys were somehow not as staunch right-wing as the GOP, and that is flat out wrong, you are just as both equally rightwing nuts, but at least the GOP don’t lie about it, they let you know upfront their ideology, warts and all. They lie about everything else, but they at least let you know where they stand on “family values” issues, big government and big brother, censorship and many other issues. When you call someone a Republican, you know what is meant by saying that. Unfortunately, you no longer have the luxury with the Democrats. Maybe we never did. Dixiecrats, anyone?

And quite frankly, I could careless about names. Forget Democrats, call yourselves the “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka dot bikini Party” as long as you are an OPPOSITION party, then names mean nothing. Unfortunately, it’s like , “opposition???!!!!???? WHAT OPPOSITION???!!!!!”

Yeah. Exactly. No one opposes the GOP. Not even when they are the minority. No one.

So, logic dictates, that with no opposition to the values and ideas of the GOP, and with many “me too” group thought on behalf of the other party, there truly is just one party, a one-party system in America. My god, how the hell did that happen?

Maybe that’s another thought for another day and another blog entry.

Anyway, I’ve been going on for far too long for something I haven’t even addressed formally yet.

The Dems fucked us. They raped us with our own paperless ballots. And it hurt. And we are in pain. And we are looking for someone to turn to, and we are coming up short, coming up empty. Leahy is even on board. On board for warrantless searches, wiretaps and snooping, all violations of the Fourth amendment, well, hell we can’t have pesky things like the Fourth amendment get in the way, now can we?

It’s all about the illegal NSA wiretapping, warrantless searches and other provisions of the illegal “Terrorism Surveillance Program”, that has supposedly Gonzo in hot water, but you have to wonder, with what the dems are doing, if they make this legal, and not only legal, but retroactive, how the hell can they possibly get Gonzo on this? Then why are they having these entire dog and pony shows on all these Gonzo scandals if it’ll all be mute when President Bush signs the Democrats bill into Law?

The Democrats have played “Let’s be Bush’s bitch” and lost… or won, depending on your perspective. They have now beholden themselves to actually advancing and authoring the very FISA violations that Bush should be impeached over, into law, making a good chunk of his, Cheney’s, Gonzo’s, et all’s high crimes and misdemeanors moot, and thusly, non-impeachable, and not only that, but they are ….. FUCKING US !!!!!

What did we ever do to the dems, to make them want to take our rights away like this? What was it? Was it that paper bag of poo I sent Reid that one time? Was it that subscription to “Playgirl” Magazine I signed Senator Ben Nelson up for? What, what was it? I gotta know, what could possibly make a bunch of namby pamby cowardly little cretins such as the Democrats to actually get a backbone, with the soul purpose to buck their own party, their own base, their own ideology, and their own philosophies, to defend Bush and his efforts to circumvent the US constitution? What??? What was it???

They finally found their backbones. It was up Bush’s ass, and he gave them back on the condition they promised to only use their backbones for the forces of evil. This can only be the only logical explanation.

So, Reid and Pelosi has made it their priorities, with all that remains to be done, including, oh, I don’t know, this thing called “Iraq”… ever heard of it? They have chosen instead of taking up another Iraq bill, that Pelosi lied about in an article that UNN’s Christine posted to the board, it never materialized, just like I thought it wouldn’t, because, you know, Iraq can “wait until September”, what’s a few more deaths among friends, right? Suuuuuuurrrrrrreeeeeeee, no probleeeeeeemmmm… We all know the weighty pressing issue before us is not this conflict taking place within the confines of a nation called Iraq and another in Afghanistan, oh, nooooooooooo, the weighty issue before this nation, the issue that EVERYONE and their mother has been demanding Congress take up is………………………………………………….. Bush’s unquestionable authority to unwontedly spy on us, the citizens of America, and those abroad whom’ law are not are own, anyway????? THAT is the issue that the nation has been clamoring for, that is the bill the Majority Leaders feel needs to be vacated and voted for, and passed into law before they leave for their “much needed” break????????

I first got word of this late Friday, when Kris was working on notes for PKRT, I was watching Congress, and they were talking about what was on the agenda for this week in the House, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is on the Judiciary committee, capitulated to the GOP reps on last Friday, they would likely bring a FISA bill by week's end, but last week, I didn't want to believe it.

I had no idea then that the Senate would dare get involved, especially taking into consideration the utter contempt that was bipartisan not only on the overall program, but Gonzo and his conduct, and his obstructing the truth on the project and it’s constitutionality. I continued into the week, not addressing it, despite the fact I saw Hoyer speak in favor of it, and said they were likely to actually bring a bill to the floor, I guess, I was simply in denial. Yes. Me. Myself. Acting like a sheeple. Head in the sand. But not because I wanted to excuse the dems like apologists do, but because I wanted to not think of the possibility of such a thing becoming law, such a thing really sends my mind in areas I don’t want to go, and it hurts when I’m there, and it hurts when I pull myself out.

This has become one of the most hurtful, hateful, worst weeks of my life, and I have to say, it’s all due to the Democrats. They are my reason for not living, if I went that far, but I’m not. Yet. I mean, I’m really like… what fuck do we do now??? What, move to… hell, Canada is just up much up to their necks in neo-con poo flingers as any other nation is right now. And since this FISA law, and the proposed changes that the Democrats support, is also about “foreigners” those of other nations, to also be spied upon, unlimited, unperturbed, undisturbed, there really is “no where to run”.

No debate. No hearings. Nothing from the public. No “comments period”. No investigations. You know they haven’t even gotten the full investigations of the NSA program underway yet, don’t you? They’ve just been preoccupied with Gonzo for just what he is involved with the program, among many other reasons outside of this subject that needs to be investigated. And yet, we are supposedly ready to bring a bill as important as this that’ll affect everyone in the nation to the floor of both chambers for a day or so of debate, and then vote that’ll lead to final passage, all in record time, just so the dems can go on their little pleasure cruises and their vacations to the Bahamas for August, and if they run into a neo-con constituent, they’ll have something to crow about? WTF?????!!!!?????

Nancy. Harry. This has been my special comment to you. Resign. Now. Step down. Reid and Pelsoi are as inept for leadership as much as if not more than George W. Bush. As unpatriotic as he is, he is perhaps more “honest” about what he believes in and want s for this nation and outlaws than you’ll ever be, Bush wants to fuck our country, and is not afraid to tell you so. The dems wants the same end, but will not meet the same means. They want to lie about who they are, and what they stand for. For the little guy? Feh. Try Big Brother. Its opposite day in Democrat land, everyday, in everyway.

Well, while I was also going to pretty much rant and blast democrat apologists for refusing to see the truth, to see dems for what they are, I’m going to post this entry the way it is for now, and since I can alter or update it, I’ll change it as needed perhaps within the next 24 hours, but I had to get something of my thought on this onto paper. Or, HTML. Whatever.
